When restoring my Daimler Dart, I had difficulty finding a company who could supply special valve guides, modified to suit a modern oil seal and oversized. Thanks to Andrews Precision for coming to my rescue. A set of precision oversized guides were manufactured on an NC machine at a very competitive price to accommodate Ford Cosworth valve guide seals. I am aware that other members of the Daimler and Lanchester Owners Club and Jaguar Clubs have experienced problems in the past in finding a Valve Guide supplier. I will certainly pass on the name of Andrews Precision with my recommendation. I am sure there are many individuals and commercial Engine Restorers who could benefit from working with suppliers Andrews Precision.
